Have you ever met anyone with a bad attitude? I wish I can say that I have not but have. I had the misfortune to work with someone who was miserable and rude. This individual often clashed with the team and just drained everyone’s energy including mine!
However, I have encountered people with positive attitudes, and they are a joy to be around and just provide a lift to everyone they encounter. I actively recruit these personalities to my team!
As you read this post, I hope that you find yourself more often in the second camp than the first. Otherwise, it may be time to look in the mirror and make some adjustments.
No one wants to deal with a bad attitude no matter how smart or talented you are. I would take a less talented person on my team any day before someone with a bad attitude.
We cannot control what happens to us but can control our response to it. Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to it!
