When I used to work at a particular bank, people would sometimes ask me what I was smoking because I smiled often.
Unfortunately, some of my coworkers were not the most enthusiastic bunch. They were well compensated, but their happiness was obviously not correlated to their paychecks.
What they did not know is that despite some of the challenges around me, I chose to count my blessings and choose Joy. Don’t get me wrong, I had some challenging days. However, I chose to make the best of the situation by focusing on the positive when possible.
