I remember growing up that we were not allowed to say, “I can’t.” Although there are some things we can’t do, having a can-do attitude is empowering!
A big trigger for me is when I am working with people and they focus more on what they can’t do, versus what they can do! I attribute the more strength based “I can” approach as part of my secret sauce!
So, the next time you start to let fear, self-doubt, and complacency, push you down the negative road of “I can’t!”, push that aside and replace it with, “I can!” If you want it, you’ll find a way, if you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.”-Unknown.
