I enjoy watching Sue Aikens on Life Below Zero-a show that chronicles the lives of people living off the land in Alaska. I love her fearlessness and willingness to take on any task/challenge and do it well.
In one episode she had to create a culvert to divert the rising waters so planes could land to buy her fuel. She wasn’t sure how to do it or if it would work but figured it out. She is now ready for the planes and the resultant business!
She could have easily given up or not tried but decided to jump in the rink. Although we cannot win them all, like Sue, we must prepare and jump in. If you don’t try, you are guaranteed to miss every shot you don’t take!
